Thank you for your interest in Brady Calligraphy. A great invitation tempts and informs your guests on
all of the special details of your event. The style of design should always reflect you and your special
occasion. Each order is unique, and done completely by hand especially for you.
Mailing your invitations
A few helpful tips on mailing your invitations:
- Envelopes should be addressed in the same color ink that the invitation is printed in.
- Mail local invitations six weeks before the event, and out of town invitations eight weeks before
the event.
Samples and Quotes
Samples are available upon request. If you would like a personalized sample, it will include your
name with your choice of two styles. I will respond to your request for a quote and sample within 48
hours.
Booking
Ideally I would like to have a start date of three months before the special occasion to allow enough
time to complete your project so that it is done beautifully. To book a date requires a $50.00
nonrefundable deposit.
Clients are able to receive 10% off their entire order, if a referral from the client books before
the completion of their order (one per client).
Orders
As a general rule for most calligraphers we ask that you include 10% extra materials for errors, or a
minimum of 10 extra items for orders less than 100. Clients are required to approve all styles and
layout (if applicable) prior to the start of a project.
Guidelines for preparing your list:
- A typed list of names and complete addresses using upper and lower case letters. Only use
ampersands (&) and abbreviations if you would like them to appear that way, otherwise
please spell everything out. - Please be sure to include all zip codes. If a zip code is not included, and needs to be looked
up, there will be a fee (0.25 for each occurrence). - Please proof your list carefully. Your spelling, punctuation, and capitalization will be followed
exactly. - It would be extremely helpful if you could put your name and phone number on each page of
the list. - Number each address and each page.
- Make a copy for yourself.
It is a request that our clients provide their address list and the items for calligraphy a week before the
agreed upon start date whenever possible. If the items are not delivered on or before the agreed start
date, it can not be guaranteed that the job will be fulfilled by the agreed upon completion date. The time
between start date and completion date is generally one week.
Payment
Cash or checks made out to Danielle Brady are the only acceptable means of payment. Any
payments made in full (+shipping and handling if applicable) when the items arrive on or before the
start date will expedite your order. You will be notified by phone and email (if information is given) that
your order is completed. Clients must then send the balance in full (+ shipping and handling, if
applicable) that is due, before the items will be released.
Shipping and handling fees are not included in the item pricing. I will do everything I can to lessen the
cost of shipping and handling , including reusing the box the items originally arrived in whenever
possible.
Personal checks that are NSF will be assessed a $25.00 fee, and only cash will be accepted.
Rush Orders
Orders booked within one month of mailing the stationary our for the event are considered rush
orders. Rush orders are assessed a 15% charge, and the order is to be paid for in full before the
commencement of the order.
Shipment
Standard ground service with UPS, FedEx, or DHL will be used, unless otherwise requested. Clients
are allowed to upgrade from regular ground if they would like, clients are responsible for shipping
charges.
Allow one week for shipping order back to you when determining the due date for your special event
I am not responsible for lost or misdirected items. When applicable I will notify the client by phone and
email (if information is given) of when the items were shipped along with a tracking number.
Cancellations or Refunds
All orders are unique orders placed especially for you, therefore once an order is processed, your full
payment/deposit is nonrefundable. After your order is processed you may not change the color ,
style, or deduct quantity.
If the client decides to cancel an order before the start of the project, your nonrefundable deposit will act
as a cancellation fee.
In the event that errors are made, if the error was in fault of the client then there will be the appropriate
charge to make the correction; if the error was in fault of Brady Calligraphy there will be no fee for the
correction.
If for some unforeseen reason I am unable to fulfill a scheduled order, I will notify the client immediately
and ask permission to postpone the order, or I will return the items and the deposit.
I keep all contract information provided by my clients private and confidential. I do not give away or
resell this information.
I only book a certain number of orders a week, and the bookings are done on a first come first serve
basis. Please keep in mind that each item is done individually by hand, and quality will not be
sacrificed for quantity.
By placing an order, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions above in this contract . When you
